Waking up in the morning to find our main sewer drain backed up was not the way I was expecting to start my day. However Mr. Rooter came through big time! Their representative on the phone was a big help, and sent a plumber out right away. The plumber Chad, was incredible. He came in and fixed the problem and it took him perhaps less than an hour. He was here in and incredibly timely fashion and was polite, straight to the point and was all around just amazing. I can’t thank him enough and wanted to emphasize how incredible he was. Thanks Chad and Mr. rooter for all your help!! Service: Sewer repair

When I called to make an appointment the gentleman that answered asked, “how can I make you smile today?” Which I thought was a great greeting, especially having come home from vacation to a leak! He cheered me up! The next morning the lady who called to notify us of our appointment time was also friendly, accommodating and understanding! The plumber, Chad, showed up on time and greeted us very professionally! He was very knowledgeable and super friendly! He took the time to explain every little detail and answered all of our questions patiently and in terms that we could understand. When he diagnosed the problem he gave us all of our options with various price points and never made us feel Obligated to choose any specific option or to even have the work done by him. We went ahead and had the work done by Chad and he did it quickly, carefully, and ensured we were happy with it before he left! He definitely fixed the problem and even went above and beyond with how he treated and in our home! He was very clean and respectful of our property. Never once did he wear his shoes in the house without covers and he even cleaned my bathtub after he was done working on it. We have nothing bad to say about him he is fantastic all around! I will definitely call him back specifically To have work done! I have to say, both Mr. Rooter and their sister company Birnie Plumbing and Drains have fantastic employees and work ethic! Thanks again Chad! Services: Plumbing leak repair, Plumbing leak detection

If you’re experiencing any problems with your water heater, contact a licensed and insured plumbing service provider with experience in water heater repairs and maintenance. When you want your water heater repaired properly, reach out to a trusted, licensed, and insured plumbing service provider so you can enjoy more confidence. There can be great value in talking to people you know and reading online reviews before hiring someone to repair or maintain your water heater. Opting for a professional service provider that guarantees both parts and workmanship is an excellent decision when your water heater stops working and requires repairs.
-
When you have a water heater that isn’t creating hot water, check the heating elements and thermostat and ensure there’s power before contacting a trained service provider for help. If your water heater is leaking from a faulty pressure relief valve, corrosion, or a loose connection, organize repairs or a water heater replacement through a reputable service professional. When your water heater produces strange sounds, sediment buildup can often be the culprit, and a quick tank flush by a service professional can usually solve the problem. Rather than repairing your water heater yourself when you’re not confident or skilled, contact a service professional to take care of repairs, maintenance, and replacement for you.
-
Check your water heater’s manufacturing label since repairs aren’t always worth it if the water heater is 8-12 years old or older. A good calculation to determine if you should repair a water heater is whether repair bills in the last year have been half the cost of a new water heater. After performing multiple repairs on your water heater over its lifetime, you may get to a point where you realize that replacing it makes more sense. Performance and efficiency are two of the many factors to weigh up when you’re unsure whether it’s better to replace or repair your water heater.
-
If your water heater is leaking from damage or rust, your local water heater expert will likely recommend total water heater replacement over repairs. Any leaks from a water heater’s pipes or fittings requires the inspection of inlet and outlet pipes and a phone call to a trusted service professional. A water leak from a pressure relief valve in a water heater isn’t uncommon, but you should contact a licensed and insured service professional to diagnose the problem and replace the part. Leaking drain valves on water heaters can require trained service professionals to look for signs of a worn rubber gasket or a broken plastic valve.
-
When your water heater is old or hasn’t been well-maintained over its lifetime, it may cost more to repair than a newer, more well-maintained model. Your water heater type can contribute to your repair bill alongside the repair type, with prices often varying for gas, electric, tank, and tankless models. There is typically no ‘average’ water heater repair cost since water heaters succumb to different issues like leaks and broken components such as heating elements. As most labour costs vary across the country, the costs of repairing a water heater can fluctuate.
-
When you’re planning to replace your water heater, the type or model you select, such as gas, electric, tank, or tankless, impact the installation costs. Water heater replacement costs depend on the size of your water heater’s tank or the flow rate if you’ve opted for a tankless model. How complicated a water heater is to install, the company you choose to install it, the need for permits and where you live contribute to water heater replacement costs. Call your local water heater expert and request a job estimate when you want a more accurate idea of water heater replacement costs.
-
When your current old water heater is not economical to run or is no longer efficient, replace it sooner rather than later. When your repair bill for an old water heater has exceeded half the cost of a new water heater in the last year, it’s a good time to buy a replacement. If your water heater is starting to leak or it’s beginning to develop rust, contact a trusted water heater service professional to discuss its replacement. When your water heater isn’t fit for purpose, doesn’t have the features you need, or has frustrating issues like sediment buildup, buy a new one to replace it.
-
Different water heaters have different installation processes, which means that some take longer for a licensed and insured service professional to install than others. Water heater replacement timeframes depend on factors like whether or not you need to repair, replace, or install new water heater connections for it. If your plumbing service provider need to make modifications to remove your old water heater or install a new gas line, the replacement process can take longer. When a water heater service professional encounters a straightforward water heater replacement process, they will have your new water heater in place within a matter of a few hours.
-
You can get a sense of the best time to replace your water heater when you know its typical lifespan and how long it’s expected to work at its best. Generally, tank water heaters function well for 8-12 years before needing to be replaced, while high-efficiency water heaters may last a little longer, for 10-15 years. Many homeowners with tankless water heaters enjoy 15-20 years of faithful service when they are professionally installed and fastidiously maintained by trusted water heater service professionals. Despite there being an ‘average’ expected water heater lifespan, yours isn’t guaranteed to last that long if you don’t maintain it, it has water quality problems, or you’re experiencing ongoing issues relating to performance or parts.
-
Properties that feature upgraded amenities, like modern water heaters with impressive efficiency and innovative features, can be more appealing to homebuyers than those with outdated systems. People who are in the market for a new home may look at specific properties fondly if they have new water heaters, seeing them as a sign of extra care and attention. There can be value in making other upgrades alongside your water heater, such as a bathroom or kitchen renovation, to potentially improve your chances of a better return on investment. The price tags attached to homes are impacted by market conditions in specific areas as well as impactful upgrades like water heaters and other appliances.
