Brandon was very efficient and courteous. If anyone ask, we would not hesitate to recommend Brandon of Mr. Rooter plumbing.

  • D W.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

Awesome service from Jason. Replaced our entire water line and left our yard as they found it. Replaced the sod as well as spreading new top soil and adding grass seed. These guys are true professionals and we appreciated the service, especially after having a bad experience with another "rooter" plumbing company.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

Very impressed with Mr. Rooter's services. Ryan was extremely knowledgeable, skilled and thorough. He went the extra mile, pointing out issues that could have created future costly problems. He was very polite, friendly and outgoing. Prices were reasonable and fair. We would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone in need of a plumber. Thanks so much, Ryan!! Aug. 2021 – Almost a year later, I called and requested Ryan to help us with a blockage in our kitchen sink. He found the problem quickly which turned out not to be within our unit, so Ryan wrote up a report for our strata and made recommendations for our building which were greatly appreciated. He always goes the extra mile to cover all the bases. Ryan's not only very knowledgeable, efficient and thorough, he's a real pleasure to have in your home, so personable and friendly. Whenever I need a plumber, it will be Ryan I'll call first! Great big thanks for another job well done, Ryan!!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

Mr. Rooter has been my GO TO company for several years. They took care of all our plumbing needs with our dry cleaning business. They were ready to come at a moments notice if we had an emergency. Not only did they do a great job, but it would be almost impossible to find more pleasant and honest workers. They priced accurately the jobs before starting, so no unpleasant surprises. Their great service is by no means limited to business locations. They have also solved a variety of my household water issues, from fixing a leaking toilet to providing plumbing for couple new bathrooms, and installing a new water heater. Too bad the evaluation stars are limited to 5. I would give them a 10!

Mitch Murphy helped me out and he was awesome. So professional and nice. Was very thorough and quick. Super impressed.

  • Martin

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

Excellent, quick service. We discovered a water leak in our walls one morning. The lady that answered the phone was very helpful and nice. The technician, David, showed up on time and was very friendly, and showed up here within an hour and a half of my phone call. He knew what the problem was almost right away (something I would never even have thought of!). Did a quality repair, and with minimal intrusion or damage to the wall that had to be cut. Absolutely excellent experience and would recommend to anyone. We need a new hot water tank soon and I will for sure be calling this company again.

Excellent service that you can rely on from a personable and professional plumber.

  • Silas S.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

I don't normally write reviews but I had to after the amazing service I received from Jack Reidford at Mr Rooter Plumbing in Kelowna. This man went above and behind and fixed multiple problems at my house. Once he even fixed the first problem he worked on it an extra hour after it was already fixed just to make sure he had it nipped in the butt. I would definitely recommend this company and would suggest to ask for Jack specifically.

Frequently Asked Questions About Plumbing in Boucherie, British Columbia

If you have questions about our plumbing services in your area, contact the friendly plumbers at Mr. Rooter Plumbing® in Boucherie, British Columbia to answer them. Learn more about our services by reading the answers to some of our most commonly asked questions below.

  • Overtightening your faucet and mineral build-up over time can result in dripping, often caused by worn components like washers and valve seats. High water pressure can make for a more enjoyable showering experience, but excessively high water pressure can affect water flow in our pipes and cause excess water to leak out your faucets. Loose components like adjusting rings and packing nuts can often cause faucet leaks that can require your attention, especially around the base of your faucet. Some homeowners intend to install their faucets adequately, but they don’t quite get it right, and this causes leaks that professional plumbers need to repair.

  • Check your primary water shutoff valves before calling a service professional about low water pressure since partial closure of these valves can affect your water pressure. Pipe clogs and obstructions can sometimes lead to low water pressure, so contact a trained plumber to prevent your pipes from bursting or being damaged. If you notice a shift in water pressure from high to low or vice versa with little warning, it can indicate an issue with your home’s pressure regulator. Call a plumber without delay if you’ve diagnosed the cause of your low water pressure as a pipe leak that needs to be repaired without delay.

  • As a slow-draining sink can often require an experienced professional to diagnose and fix, contact a trusted plumber to take care of it. Baking soda and vinegar left to fizz in your drain can be an effective solution for slow drainage in a sink caused by soap scum and/or grease. When you suspect clogs are the cause of your slow-draining sink, use a plumbing snake to pull out materials deep in your drains, like hair and gunk. The P-trap under your sink often traps debris in its P-shaped design, resulting in slow drainage that you’ll need to address by cleaning it out.

  • Preventing leaks is often as straightforward as scheduling regular plumbing maintenance, such as drain cleaning and water heating flushing, to keep on top of possible future issues. Refrain from putting unhealthy items down your drains, such as paper products, eggshells, grease, and coffee grounds, to avoid clogs that cause significant pipe damage and leaks. If you have high water pressure, ask your local plumber to install a water pressure regulator, especially when you know that high water pressure causes pipe damage and leaks. Canadian winters can be bitterly cold, so prevent your pipes from bursting or leaking due to frozen water by insulating, protecting, and covering areas with exposed pipes.

  • When you don’t know what has caused an unpleasant odour in your sink, contact a plumber near you to diagnose and remedy it. Check for drain clogs when you smell something terrible in your drains since clogs can be breeding grounds for bacteria that produce foul-smelling waste. The P-trap in your sink can cause an awful odour, often caused by infrequent use or clogs that cause the P-trap to dry out and let sewer gases enter your house. If you use a garburator, pay attention to whether any awful odours are coming from it – bacteria and rotting food on its blades may be to blame.

  • Too much demand for hot water in a property can be to blame for a lack of hot water when the tank isn’t large enough to cater to everyone. Check the temperature of your water heater’s thermostat to ensure it sits at around 55°C but not any higher than 60°C, or it can present a burn risk. When gas valves, heating elements, and thermostats fail on older water heaters, they can lead to a lack of hot water, which your local plumbing service provider can help with. If you have a water heater manufactured before 1997, it may have a dip tube that has failed, causing water to enter your pipes before it has had a chance to be heated.

  • A dripping faucet, a leaking pipe, or a broken fixture can all contribute to an unusually high water bill, so contact a trusted plumber to get to the bottom of the problem. Inspect your outdoor irrigation system for wasteful water runoff and overconsumption since poor or inadequate installation might be to blame for your property’s high water bill. Home appliances can become sources of water waste you may not have expected, such as ice makers, dishwashers, and water heaters that aren’t functioning at their best. If your toilet tank has been filling more often than necessary, it could have a leak that is responsible for the wastage of hundreds of litres of water, resulting in a high water bill.

  • Turn off water and electricity: Electricity and water don’t mix, so turn off your water and electricity mains to keep yourself and others safe while making a plan. Contact a plumber: Most people won’t know what to do when a pipe bursts, so don’t delay contacting a plumber for help. Clean up the water: When the power and water are off, you may like to start cleaning up with buckets, mops, and towels unless you suspect sewage contamination. Document the damage: When you want your insurance company to cover the costs of your burst pipe, ensure you provide comprehensive evidence in the form of a list of losses, photos, and videos.

  • You may need to replace the flush valve in your toilet if it continuously runs after flushing since an overflow tube that is too short can be to blame. When your toilet tank keeps running, check the condition of the float, as faulty floats can sometimes fail to tell the fill valve when the toilet tank has enough water. Toilet tank flappers don’t last forever, so check the condition of this essential toilet tank component to see if it could be causing water to leak or escape. If your toilet doesn’t stop running, a bent float arm could be the culprit – straighten or replace it to solve the problem or rule it out as the cause.

  • If you need to turn off your whole house’s water supply quickly, look for a valve inside your house that you can turn off clockwise without tools. Look outside your home for an underground water meter box with a security bolt – you can open it with a pentagon socket wrench and turn off the water supply. Some outdoor water meter boxes housing water valves require pliers or a meter key so you can easily access the water valve to turn it off. If you’re having trouble finding your water valve, accessing it, or turning it off, reach out to your trusted local plumber to turn off the water for you.
