DIY Olaf Toothbrush Holder
"Hi! I'm Olaf and I like warm hugs!" Chances are you've not only seen the movie Frozen countless times, but you have also fallen in love with the quirky and lovable snowman, Olaf. With this fun tutorial, you can turn your favorite snowman into an adorable toothbrush holder out of a simple toilet paper tube!
Supplies:
- 1 toilet paper tube
- White construction paper
- 1 orange pom pom
- 3 black pom poms
- 2 googly eyes
- A fine point black marker
- Small sticks or twigs
- Glue
- Scissors
- Pen
Step 1
Cover the toilet paper tube in white construction paper using glue. Be sure to cut off the excess paper that hangs off the tube. Then, glue on two googley eyes.
Step 2
For Olaf's carrot nose, flatten out your orange pom pom by rolling it between your fingers. Place it so that it's sticking out, like his nose! Glue it right underneath the googley eyes. If need be, use an orange pipe cleaner or something similar.
Step 3
Next, use a fine point black marker to draw eyebrows and a smile. Remember, Olaf is pretty goofy! Feel free to find a picture of him and copy that if you need to.
Step 4
Glue on three black pom poms under Olaf's smile in a vertical line. These are his buttons!
Step 5
Using extra white construction paper, cut out two small circles for Olaf's feet. Glue them to the bottom of the tube.
Step 6
For the arms, it is easiest to poke two holes in the sides of the tubes to stick the twigs through. You can carefully poke holes using a regular pen or even a toothpick. Once you've made holes, insert the twigs. Then glue several smaller twigs to the inside of the tube at the top to make Olaf's hair.
