Give Thanks Always

I love that so many people take the time out of their day to really think about what they are thankful for during the month of November. Can you imagine if each of us took a couple of moments every day, to think of just one thing we are thankful for in our lives? Those few seconds could have a domino effect on the world! A little less anger and a little more laughter; a little less contempt and a little more warmth - it could be a truly beautiful thing!

This past month I had a friend decide to post something she is grateful for each day in November- calling it her month of gratitude. What a great idea! I've enjoyed reading her posts every morning and it's made me reflect on the many blessings I have in my life. I am thankful for so many things, it is hard to put them all into one blog, or Facebook post.

I am thankful for my family - my loving husband and amazing children and all of my extended family. I am thankful for my job and my ability to work. I am thankful for my friends and the support we offer each other. I am grateful for our military servicemen and women, who have selflessly served this country, those who gave the ultimate sacrifice and those who are still fighting to protect our great country.

I am grateful to belong to Mr. Rooter and have the opportunity to serve so many great franchisees, service technicians, staff members, and customer service representatives. Each day they work to create outstanding customer experiences for our customers and it makes me proud to be a part of such a team. I am thankful for more than can be recounted in a blog. My heart swells with gratitude when I look at my life, and I am thankful for each day I am able to take a breath and make a difference.

Instead of a day, or a week, or a month of recounting our blessings, let's all try to take a moment out of every day to remember what we are thankful for and why we are thankful for it.

Make it a world-class day and Happy Thanksgiving!
