August is National Water Quality Month

Did you know August is National Water Quality Month? I like the idea, and think it is an important topic that we don't discuss enough.

National Water Quality Month hits home with me especially because Mr. Rooter Plumbing travelled to Haiti after the earthquake in 2010 to purify the water for the earthquake victims. We tested their water, and it was unsafe. So Mr. Rooter Plumbing and 3M Purification Inc. taught Haitian women how to safely use their water. We also built water filters for them to use and established a micro-fund to help the Haitians sell clean water throughout their village.
