You can sometimes fix a clogged kitchen sink drain or clogged toilet yourself. If the kitchen sink doesn't have disposal installed and there is no standing water in the sink, you can start by using a drain cleaner. If that doesn't work, fill the sink with enough water to cover the top of a cup plunger. Then place the plunger over the center of the sink drain. Plunge up and down forcefully for two or three minutes, then remove the plunger to see if the water goes down. If it doesn't, repeat the process as necessary. For a clogged toilet drain, you shouldn't use a drain cleaner. Instead, use an accordion plunger. Insert the end of the plunger into the toilet hole and plunge forcefully for two or three minutes. Remove the plunger and see if the toilet water goes down. If it doesn't, repeat the process a few times. If this doesn't work, call a professional for a clogged drain service.

We Clear Clogged Kitchen Sink Drains & Clogged Shower Drains
We use professional equipment, powerful tools, and decades of experience to clear clogged drains. We can find a solution for even the toughest clogged kitchen sink drain or clogged shower drain. After we complete a plumbing inspection to determine where and why your drain is clogged, we'll recommend one or more of these methods we use to clear clogged drains:
- Hydro Jetting - Our hydro jetting services use highly pressurized water jets to clear out food scraps, grease, oil, fats, soap, and other debris in your pipes. Hydro jetting can eliminate decades of built-up sludge lining your pipes. Once we break up the clogs, we flush them into the city's sewer system.
- Drain Rooter Services - We can use drain rooter services for stubborn clogged drains. We insert a long cable up to 150 feet into your pipes. The cable has a hook at the end, and as it turns in the drain, it breaks apart waste, hair, soap scum, debris, and other clogs. We can flush them through to the city sewers or pull them up through the drain.
- Plumbing Snake or Auger - We often use plumbing snakes or augers for clogged toilets and clogged shower drains. We thread a cable through your pipes, and the spikes on the cable catch hair, soap, and other debris as it rotates. We can then finish with hydro jetting.
