“Just found out that I could post a review so decided to sing their praises!!. I am a local restaurant owner in Kelowna and had occasion to use the services of Mr Rooter a few years ago for a stopped up drain. Now to be fair i called Mr. Rooter because I knew Peter (a service technician) and wanted to use the company he worked for. Peter was already booked for a job so they sent out Ryan. The impression he made on me with the service, professionalism and knowledge he exhibited as well as the quality of work he completed, compelled me to call his boss the minute he left my "shop". I told the person on the phone that i was extremely impressed with Ryan and that i would be using them any time i was required to pay for plumbing needs. About a year ago I had some problems with the drainage system, I had called Mr Rooter and they sent Ryan around...he found major issues in the plumbing and I thought it was all gonna hang on my shoulders. Ryan immediately got on the phone with my landlord and explained the situation ...including the fact that this problem was beyond my responsibility, even though this could have lost him the contract (as my landlord has plumbers on staff). My landlord agreed to have Ryan continue the work and we have had no issues since, again I was more than impressed with Ryan and the work he has done for me over the years and I will reiterate the fact that if I am going to pay a plumber for anything I will always call Mr Rooter.”

“This is the second time using Mr Rooter - unfortunately 5 years ago on Christmas Eve the tank decided it was done! The plumber at that time scrambled around at this busy holiday time to get a replacement. He did but unfortunately it was a GE electric hot water tank and began to leak yesterday!! Jack was prompt on arriving & replaced it with a much superior model. Sadly tho, I am out of pocket because GE would honor the warranty but the replacement tank would only have a warranty until November of this year! No new warranty! “As first time home owners, with a 4 month old baby, our water main started to leak, and the City recommended we replace the line to our house and move the meter in to the house, and Mr. Rooter was recommended; Scott had to break open our concrete floor in our bathroom, dig 3 feet (!) down to find our connection, and perform all this work under time pressure while working through the challenges of a house built in the 80s. During the repair, he removed mold-damaged drywall, replaced the connection hose to our washer, screwed in our old kitchen faucet (it always wobbled), replaced the cartridge in our shower (it was always stubborn), insulated a dryer vent (which caused condensation in our bathroom), and adjusted the water pressure, etc. At the end of every day, he cleaned up after himself, and we are sorry to say that we ran out of work for him because our whole house seems to be better. Regarding the washer, Scott noticed that the hot water hose was bulging and at risk of failing - it was difficult to see, but easy to feel if you knew what to inspect, and Mr. Rooter's inspect is literally "hands-on." With a baby in the house, Scott was courteous to warn us when the jackhammer was going to be used and he helped connect the neighbor's garden house to our line so we had water during the repair. But you should see the new plumbing! Instead of a mess of pipes, we have clean lines, nicely spaced out, properly anchored, additional shut off valves (e.g. for irrigation) - it looks like something you would see on a home renovation TV show.”
